How is the 3D Artists | raph.com Job Center different from other job sites?

Unlike traditional job sites, the Job Center is built with the computer graphics industry in mind. First, resumes are enhanced with cg-specific features, e.g. the ability to specify cg skills, cg software, ... or build your online portfolio. Then, only job offers related to computer graphics (e.g. 3d artist, animator, ...) are posted.

How do I build my resume?

Once registered, you can log in and start building your resume. The resume building system is divided into seven parts:
1. Personal details and work preferences
2. Education and skills
3. Professional experience
4. Miscellaneous
5. Portfolio
6. Resume settings
7. View resume online
To build your resume, simply fill in the form on each of these pages and click on the 'SAVE' button at the bottom of the page. Once you have provided all the necessary details, your resume will be added to the database and employers will have access to it. You can view your resume as employers will see it by going to page 7: "View resume online".

How do I upload an image and add it to my portfolio?

Once you are on the page 5: "Portfolio" of the resume system, click on the 'Browse...' button to select a file on your local computer. The file must be a jpeg image with the '.jpg' extension (lowercase) and under 200 KB in size. Then, add a comment (optional) to your image and click on the 'Add this image' button. Depending on the file size and your Internet connection speed, the uploading process will take from a few seconds to several minutes. As long as you do not see the confirmation page, do not hit the stop button of your browser.

I keep getting an error whenever I try to upload an image. Why?

Please, ensure the image you are trying to upload meets the requirements: it must be a valid jpeg file, with the '.jpg' file extension (lowercase) and under 200 KB in size.
Unfortunately some graphics applications seem to produce non-standard JPEG files. You might want to try to save your image with another application and try to upload it again.

I don't want my resume to be available to employers anymore. How can I remove it?

Edit your resume and go to page 6: "Resume Settings" and uncheck the 'display resume' option and save your change. This will hide your resume but keep all the data. If later, you want to make it available again, check the 'display resume' option and save.

I try the browse and search resumes features but I can't see all the details of my resume. Why?

The browse and search features are restricted to employers only. The access is restricted to prevent any abuse of the resumes database.

For instance, the normal visitor doesn't have access to the contact details to prevent spammers to try to gather e-mail addresses to build e-mail addresses lists.
