Any Rhino super stars out there?

In Rhino, I am trying to make a broom for my snow man. I am a highschool student and first time user of the software.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with the bottom of the broom? I had an idea of making a cylinder and then somehow preforming a cut on the bottom to make it jagged on the ends, but i have no idea how to do that.

Does anyone know how? Or, a better way to approach this? I have every last bit of my snow man done, and it's due in about a week, and this is the last bit. Any help is appreciated!! :)
