Wire to solid?
By Big Al on May 04, 2005 05:34 PM
Hi,
I don't know anything about Rhino or any 3D-software, so be gentle. My problem: I work for a boardgame company and we've bought a Rhino-model of a trophy that has to be used to create a mold. The mold company in Slovenia has told us that the 3D-model consists of wires and that they need a solid shape to create the mold. The thing is: they don't appear to know what they're doing (example: we gave them a .rar-file containing the Rhino-model - they tried to open it directly in a modelling-program, which obviously didn't work). So my question is: is it possible to convert a wire-based model to a solid shape? Is it an easy conversion that I can explain to the people in Slovenia? Thanks! Wire to solid?

Soldering is a skill that can take several attempts to master but it is one of the most trusted ways to join connections .
