JOHOR BARU: The newly opened Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) received a shot in the arm with the introduction of a new bus service to the retail centre.

Bus operator, Handal Indah Sdn Bhd which operates Causeway Link bus service has introduced two services to ferry michael kors store locator shoppers from Johor Baru and Singapore.

Visitors from Singapore have two options they could board the company's crossborder michael kors outlet store bus services from the republic via the Causeway or the Second Link crossing (2nd Link).

"We hope to attract more Singaporeans to shop at the JPO as many of them love branded items at discounted prices," managing director Lim Han Weng said at the launch of the bus service and the ManjaLink Card.

Those coming from the Causeway could catch the bus service JPO1 from JB Sentral which is just a walking distance from the Bukit Chagar Customs, Quarantine and Immigration (CIQ) complex.

From JB michael kors factory Sentral, the bus will pick up passengers along Jalan Tebrau, Jalan Skudai, Larkin Sentral Transport Terminal, Indahpura and to JPO.

The JPO2 service caters from visitors using the 2nd Link where they could board Causeway Link crossborder bus services from Jurong East Interchange to Gelang Patah Terminal passes the 2nd Link Highway to the retail outlet.

"The JPO2 also serves those going to Senai Airport which is just few kilometers away from the JPO and incoming air passengers could also board the bus going to the JPO," said Lim.

JPO, located along the highway in Kulaijaya is a joint venture between Genting Bhd and Simon Property Group, is scheduled to be officially launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Sunday. (Dec 11)

The stores include those selling top brands like Armani Exchange, Burberry, Charles Keith, Coach, DKNY, Michael Kors, Salvatore michael kors factory store Ferragamo and Zegna.

Separately, he said the ManjaLink card an automatic fare collection system onboard was introduced for those using the company's crossborder bus services between Johor Baru and Singapore.

He said initially, buses plying the Bukit Indah Terminal to the Jurong East Interchange via the 2nd Link CIQ will be equipped with the card reader and while those serving the Causeway routes will start by mid2012.

Lim said presently between 3,000 and 6,000 passengers using its bus services from the 2nd Link to Singapore daily and between 10,000 and 15,000 users for the services via the Causeway.
