It's Kanji, which is used in Japan, but the characters themselves are indeed derived from Chinese. If you notice also there are a couple of Hiragana characters in there, and those are obviously Japanese. Go learn something!

The pait characters, isn't that chinese? Your work has a water colour effect.
I like the paint stroke style. Has a traditional Japanese feel to it, but it is also very contemporary. But what is especially good, is that you have a very unique style. Great work!
