The lagoon is in fact from Myst's sequel, Riven.
In my opinion it is even better than the original.
You should give it a try.
There are actually 6 games in the franchise.

The way you managed to give your art a kind of hand painted effect is espescially (cant spell) nice, the attenttion to detail is also very good. Well Done!
