"Battleships" reminds me of the paperback book covers of the 1950s and 1960s and that is a good thing. "Earth Guard" seems more contemporary (modern) and a little more realistic. I like both of these and encourage you to keep up the dedicated effort.

Ludmann, considering these were made back in 1997 using real3d they're not too bad you should have worked on the details a bit more though.
