I really like the piece. I am new to this 3D art but I keep reading over and over again "be more realistic". Why? Take a picture if you want total realism. Your work really jumped out at me when I saw it. Keep on keeping on. The more unreal and out of this world the better. I think the most important part of your piece is the emotion and you got it right.
